Madeline Howard
PRESIDENT (Boston)
Maddy works as a Senior Sustainability Advisor at Constellation Energy where she enables corporates to meet their sustainability and decarbonization goals.Prior to Constellation, Maddy worked at Sustainalytics supporting institutional and retail investors with the quality research necessary to implement ESG integration into their investment processes. She spent 7 years previously in the Wealth and Investment Management space at both BNY Mellon and Brown Advisory. Maddy earned her Bachelors degree from Dickinson College and a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University, where she was part of the Social Impact program, focusing on Energy and Environmental Sustainability. She has also completed the CFA ESG Certificate and the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor program.
As President, Maddy spearheads BASIC’s strategic agenda, working with the Leadership Team to support and grow our sustainable investing community.

Dan Saccardi
MEMBERSHIP CHAIR (Boston)
Dan Saccardi is a Director in Ceres' Company Network where he leads multi-stakeholder dialogues with a portfolio of financial services companies. Dan engages with companies on sustainability strategy, disclosure, policy development and programmatic priorities covering topics such as climate and clean energy, water risk management, product integration, and governance for sustainability.
Dan graduated cum laude from Connecticut College where he received a BA in Environmental Studies. He also holds an MBA and MPA from New York University. -
Joanna DaCunha
EVENTS CO-CHAIR (Boston)
Joanna is the Environmental Justice Program Manager at Resonant Energy, leading initiatives that expand clean energy access for nonprofits, affordable housing, and commercial properties. She focuses on community shared solar, community projects introducing clean energy, partnering with community organizations, and securing funding to make solar projects financially viable. Joanna works at the intersection of climate equity and impact investing, ensuring organizations can participate in the clean energy transition while benefiting from Massachusetts’ solar incentives and innovative funding models. Joanna earned a Bachelor's in International Development and Social Change and a Master's in Community Development and Planning both from Clark University.As Events Co-Chair, Joanna plans and executes BASIC events including panel discussions, roundtables, and socials. The event co-chairs collaborate with the BASIC management team and BASIC affiliates to ensure events are engaging and touch on relevant topics in the SRI community.

Alicia Raspa
TREASURER (Boston)
Alicia is the Controller at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Prior to her current role, Alicia spent over 10 years as an auditor at various CPA firms in the Boston area. She enjoys supporting the team at UCS in their important scientific advocacy work by providing accurate and timely financial data. She is passionate about improving sustainable financial reporting to help quantify and disclose the effects of ESG related issues. Alicia obtained a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Accounting from Northeastern University.
As Treasurer, Alicia is responsible for the fiscal and budgetary management of BASIC.

Nisha Pedda
MARKETING CHAIR (Boston)
Nisha is an Institutional Sustainable Investing Analyst at Brown Advisory, where she supports the growth and development of the firm’s global institutional sustainable investing platform. Prior to Brown Advisory, Nisha had internship experience across climate policy research, renewable energy development, and early‑stage venture investing. She holds a BA in Environmental Policy with a minor in Economics from Colby College, where she was also a member of the Women's Squash Team.
As a Marketing Chair, Nisha connects the BASIC community by sharing events, resources, and industry news across the website, LinkedIn, and the BASIC blog.

Nicky Wu
EVENTS CO-CHAIR (Boston)
Nicky supports cross-functional strategy at CapShift, working across teams to help private wealth and charitable institutions activate capital for impact at scale. She helps drive CapShift’s messaging and thought leadership, with a particular emphasis on advisor education and market engagement. Nicky is passionate about leveraging the power of private markets as a force for meaningful social change. Previously, she specialized in strategic communications at a financial services public relations firm, serving clients across the impact investing industry in thought leadership development, brand and messaging refinement, and media relations. Nicky holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from Williams College.
As Events Co-Chair, Nicky plans and executes BASIC events including panel discussions, roundtables, and socials. The even co-chairs collaborate with the BASIC management team and BASIC affiliates to ensure events are engagement and touch on relevant topics in the SRI community.

Andrew Pyburn
MEMBERSHIP CHAIR (NY)
Andrew Pyburn is a Vice President at BlackRock, where he leads the US sustainable and transition ETF strategy for iShares.
Before BlackRock, Andrew spent three years as an Account Manager at Morningstar Sustainalytics where he partnered with institutional investors, asset owners, academics, and non-governmental organizations across the US and Latin America. Prior to that, he spent six years as a financial advisor building a practice centered on sustainable investing. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas State University, as well as the Certificate in Sustainable Investing and the Climate Risk, Valuation, and Investing Certificate from the CFA Institute.
As membership chair, Andrew helps asset managers and sustainability-focused organizations connect with, support, and build the BASIC community.

Neera Ravikumar
EVENTS CO-CHAIR (NY)
Neera is a sustainability and data professional with experience spanning the real estate, finance, and insurance industries. She currently leads sustainability and decarbonization strategy for Brookfield Properties' North American Office portfolio; a 100+ asset, $30B+ platform across five major markets.
Her work sits at the intersection of corporate sustainability and technology, with a focus on leveraging data to identify sustainable solutions and inform forward-thinking business strategy. Neera holds a graduate degree from Columbia University's Sustainability Analytics program.
As Events Co-chair for BASIC's NY Chapter, Neera is focused on curating programming and experiences that connects New York's sustainability community.

Sarah Bergman

Sarah is a product and sustainability strategist with over 12 years of experience leading end-to-end projects across global organizations in the fashion and retail industries. She specializes in cross-functional project management, supply chain coordination, and ESG strategy. She currently works for High Life LLC, designing for Reebok Women’s. Sarah earned an MBA in Sustainability from Bard College, with a focus on Circular Economy. She is passionate about innovation and circular frameworks within the apparel industry and continues to move the conversation and progress within her network.
